Somebody just mangled my hair. It looks so bad as if I had a fight with my sister and she takes revenge by cutting my hair while I sleep. Although I do not have a sister. But you get my point.
Last week, I just can't take the look of my hair anymore so I went to the nearby salon to have my hair cut. It wasn't that bad. The only downside was that the hairstyle looks puffy because I have that natural curl. Over the weekend, in my attempt to eliminate that annoying puffy hair on my head, I impulsively decided to have my hair straightened.
Wrong move. very wrong move. The outcome was something I can put along the nightmare spectrum. And it's still haunting me three days after. How tragic can that be? It is enough to say that I am now sporting the kind of look that's only good if you're sitting in front of the computer 8 hours a day and you're not seeing anybody after work. I am so upset that I actually cancelled a prior appointment last weekend for fear of being seen.
On top of this bad luck, I also learned that I have some sort of psoriasis that's causing my skin to itch. Certain parts of my body have these red scaly patches that really looks disgusting. And to add insult to injury, my laptop broke down the day after I was diagnosed with psoriasis, which roughly translates to, I do not have anything to play around with once I get home. Let's see, bad hair, bad skin, no laptop to share my misery with. God, so who am I suppose to be seeing now?
If any, I do believe that after this series of bad luck, something good will come out. I don't believe this bad luck will stuck with me any longer. It must have digged out every good thing from me. As they say, there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I'm on my way to my pot of gold. So let's celebrate! Cheers to bad hair, bad skin and no laptop.
