I am beginning to believe that my DSLR camera and I share a special relationship. A few months ago, we were "just friends". I like him, he likes me but we don't go out.
Six months after, we're on the dating stage. Please do not be surprised if I propose marriage to him one day. That's not far from happening. The good thing is, my DSLR camera does not know anything about rejection. If I decide we'll go out, we will. If I decide to ignore him, he won't mind.
I guess It's a different case for men.
Right after I met Flik, he SMSed me and thanked me for the favor I did for them. My heart leapt a little and some voice in my head was shouting hysterically, "No problem. Anytime. Let's go out sometime? Can you give me a call? Or maybe you can visit me sometime? Or how about let's have coffee next weekend? Or.. or.. let's be friends, ok? Let's not lose contact. Please? What do you want to do? What's your favorite color? food? music? movie? What interests you? What kind of girl do you like? Homey? Preppy? Funky? Motherly? I can be any of them. I promise."
Instead, this is how I replied. "Np. See you."
*smacks myself on the forehead*
Colleague: Milktea, are you a vegetarian?
Milktea: Not really.
Colleague: How come I never see you eating meat at lunch?
Milktea: I try to avoid them. Veggies are healthier.
Colleague: Ohhh.

Colleague: Milktea, don't you eat eggs?
Milktea: I do.
Colleague: How come I never see you have eggs during lunch?
Milktea: I don't want to eat too much of them.
Colleague: But I never see you eating eggs at all. How will that be too much?
Milktea: The bread or pastries I eat at breakfast are made of eggs. Sometimes, I take noodles and they're made of eggs too and they even put one whole egg with it. Sometimes, if I order deepfried ones they probably have eggs too. So that's enough eggs for me.
Colleague: Ohhh.

Colleague: Milktea, don't you drink coffee?
Milktea: I do. In fact, I love coffee. Look, I'm making one now.
Colleague: Yeah, but most of the time you just take green tea.
Milktea: That's right. I try to avoid drinking coffee regular as I don't want to become dependent. That way I don't have to suffer any withdrawal symptoms in the future. And tea is healthier.
Colleague: Ohhh.
So, who's more annoying? Me or colleague?
I am constipated and there are two things I do excessively: Eat and Daydream.
I love anything wacky, zany and cynical.
